The more you listen to a language, the better you can pronounce it and what better way to do this than by watching a movie. And if you want to smile and laugh, while you learn Italian and its culture, then Benvenuti al Sud (Welcome to the South) is the movie for you to watch.
Benvenuti al Sud is a 2010 Italian comedy that seeks to address and ease tensions between Northern and Southern Italy. The film features Alberto Colombo (Claudio Bisio), who is a post-office worker from Northern Italy, who gets reassigned to work in the South near Naples. Originally terrified due to the negative stereotypes that he has heard about the South, he has a rough transition to his change of location, but after some time, he grows to love Southern Italy and appreciates it for its delicious food, kindhearted people, and gorgeous scenery.
