A Message From The Italian Language Foundation
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on every aspect of our lives. As an organization focused on its members, our students and teachers of Italian, we are aware that the pandemic has affected the educational experience of our students and teachers.
Fortunately, even during the pandemic, The Italian Language Foundation offered its student members Italian educational career webinars and AP ITALIAN EXAM preparatory webinars.
From our teacher members, we know through our own outreach efforts that as schools and universities seek to retain their standing as vibrant educational institutions, foreign languages programs and opportunities for professional development may be curtailed.
Students of Italian are now eager to resume the in-person internships and employment opportunities that were halted during the pandemic. Businesses are re-opening and there will be more ways in which companies and small businesses can offer hands-on experiences for our students of Italian. We are looking forward to having more companies and businesses join our Corporate Alliance Membership as a way to support ILF’s Mission.
