ANNOUNCING THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE FOUNDATION'S
NEW STUDENT FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
Beginning January 2023, the ILF will award Fellowships to eligible 11th, 12th graders, and college freshmen.
The ILF Fellowship will be applied towards the study of Italian in an approved U.S. college program.
Students will select from a list of approved U.S. college programs* offering Italian language with business, engineering, medical sciences, etc.
*ILF will provide a college program list
Fellowship Eligibility
-
Student MUST be continuing their HS Italian studies or new to studying Italian in College
-
MUST be an ILF Student Member whose Teacher is also an ILF Member
-
Students who score a 4 or 5 on the AP Italian exam or gold medal winners of the AATI National Italian Exam
-
Contribute a blog describing your H.S. study of Italian
-
Volunteer as a tutor or to another service group in your high school

MACAULAY HONORS COLLEGE

The Macaulay Honors College is the honors college of the City University of New York (CUNY). Students accepted to this competitive program receive many benefits, including an opportunities fund that can be used for study abroad and a full-tuition scholarship for students who meet the New York State residency requirement. Students are based at one of eight senior colleges in the CUNY system, and have the unique opportunity of taking classes across campuses, as well as at the Macaulay building itself.

WHAT IS THE C2E PROGRAM?
Commitment to Excellence (C2E) Program is geared to 11th & 12th grade high school and college level students of Italian with a goal to help them become global career and workforce ready through Mentorship, Leadership and Internship exposure.
C2E Program Components
One-to-One Mentorship
Students are matched to a Mentor to support them with resume writing, college applications and to have someone to help them navigate their educational goals.
ILF Student Fellowships
In 2023, the ILF announced its Student Fellowships for eligible 12th graders and college students enrolled in Italian language classes. The ILF Fellowship can be applied toward the continued study of the Italian language in an approved college program in the United States. The Fellowship is $1,000 per semester, renewable up to 3-years.
Leadership Development
For 2023, ILF is sponsoring for high school level students a virtual leadership conference from July 31 - August 4, 2023. Contact the ILF if you are interested in Leadership Development
Summer Internships
Select prepared students are chosen for Summer Internships with ILF's Corporate Internship Partners, U.S based Italian companies to gain workforce skills and enhance their Italian language skills.

AP Italian Language and Culture
Student Members are kept up to date on the College Board’s AP Italian Language and Culture information, resources and updates.
Become an Italian Language Foundation Contributory Writer
In English or Italiano, we are looking for a few of our very own Student Members to become Contributory Writers! Tell us about your Italian learning experiences, how is AP Italian helping your formazione scolastica? Traveled to Italy already, write a pictorial or send us a video post.
