Professor Ryan Calabretta-Sajder
Professor Ryan Calabretta-Sajder, Professor and Section Head of Italian at the University of Arkansas, and President of the American Association of Teachers of Italian (AATI):
“I have been involved with The Italian Language Foundation through the enthusiastic labor of Dr. Margaret Cuomo and her passion for the promotion of the AP Italian language and culture exam. The Italian Language Foundation has continued to blossom and touch numerous new areas for the promotion and growth of Italian K-12 including most recently and for me, very exciting, internships and the rich blogs it also publishes.”
2023 ILF Fellowship Awardee,
Orianna is pursuing a major in Italian at Florida Atlantic University.
“Undoubtedly, this Fellowship has strongly encouraged me to continue my study of Italian, as I had previously been an Italian minor and switched to be an Italian double major. I sincerely thank the Italian Language Foundation for generously granting me these opportunities.”
“The Italian Language Foundation workshops [helped me] learn new techniques to adjust my curriculum and introduced resources I now use to engage my students daily.”
