Italian Language Learning Resources

Looking to enhance your skills by learning Italian?

Wellesley College offers an online Italian language program. It is free and open to all. They offer four online courses that cover all levels, from beginner to intermediate and advanced, ending with an Italian culture course at the advanced level called AP® Italian Language and Culture. 

Please note that Wellesley College doesn’t grant credits for their Online Italian program.

A Vocabulary List – Level 1 Italian

The Italian Language Foundation thanks two of our dedicated teachers, Bruna Boyle and Lucrezia Lindia, for preparing this list of vocabulary words for our students of Italian.

The Italian Language Foundation collaborated with qualified Teachers of Italian to obtain this list of essential vocabulary to support you our Student Members as you learn Italian. It is our hope this resource will help you, our student members and encourage you to consider taking (if you aren’t already the AP Italian Language and Culture Course and Exam.
