L’architettura americana: le case di Frank Lloyd Wright

Mi chiamo Maria Angela, frequento il quarto anno della scuola CIOFS-FP LOMBARDIA. Ho scelto l’architettura americana perché fin da piccola mi è sempre piaciuto visitare virtualmente l’America e vorrei viaggiare in tutto il mondo, esplorando le bellezze di città come Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco e altre ancora.
Il principale oggetto di studio per chi vuole analizzare l’architettura americana contemporanea sono le case più interessanti e particolari degli Stati Uniti, perché riflettono meglio di ogni altro luogo i cambiamenti della società moderna. Per questo motivo l’architettura è considerata una delle forme d’arte più significative del XX secolo.
Tra le figure più influenti di questo periodo viene ricordato Frank Lloyd Wright, architetto statunitense nato nel 1987.
Definito come maestro del Movimento Moderno, ha approfondito il rapporto fra l’individuo e lo spazio architettonico e fra questo e la natura. Interessato ad approfondire questi temi, durante il suo primo periodo di attività si concentrò sulle case d’abitazione unifamiliari.
L’architetto creava case che favorivano una vita in armonia con la natura e sosteneva la necessità di residenze belle e accessibili a tutti: dalla famosissima Fallingwater House alla residenza privata di Frank Gehry, dalla Glass House di Philip Johnson alla Douglas House di Richard Meier, dove innovazioni tecnologiche e rispetto della tradizione si fondono in perfetta armonia.
Ho scelto Frank Lloyd Wright perché, quando me l’ha consigliato mio fratello, sono rimasta affascinata dalle sue case, veri e propri edifici tra umanità e natura.
“La casa sulla cascata” è una delle opere di Wright che mi ispira di più dal punto di vista della natura.

My name is Maria Angela, I attend the fourth year at CIOFS-FP LOMBARDIA school. I chose American architecture because since I was child, I have always liked to visit America virtually and I would like to travel around the world, exploring beautiful cities such as Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and more.
Contemporary American Architecture is usually analysed through the study of the most interesting houses in the United States, that reflect better than anywhere else the changes taking place in society. For this reason architecture is considered one of the most significant forms of art of the 20th century.
Among the most influential artists of this period we can mention Frank Lloyd Wright, an American architect born in 1987.
Defined as master of the Modern Movement, he studied the relationship between individuals and the architectural space and between space and nature. These interests led him to prefer single-family homes as a theme, which prevailed in his first period of activity.
The architect created houses that fostered a life in harmony with nature and supported the need for beautiful and accessible residences for all: from the famous Fallingwater House to Frank Gehry’s private residence, from Philip Johnson’s Glass House to Richard Meier’s Douglas House, where technological innovation and respect for traditions blend in perfect harmony.
I chose Frank Llyod Wright because, when my brother recommended it to me, I was fascinated by his houses, real buildings between humanity and nature
The house on the waterfall is one of Wright’s works that really inspires me as far as nature is concerned.
Biography
Maria Angela is a student at CIOFS-FP vocational school in Milan. Her main subject is Accountancy but in her free time she really enjoys reading novels and fictional stories. She is introverted, passionate and always ready to challenge herself. Her dream is to travel the world and visit new places.

Arte e architettura
Quando penso all’arte, immagino tutto quello che i nostri occhi vedono ogni giorno o video che possiamo guardare su uno schermo.
Viaggiare fuori dall’Italia, mostra il tipo di arte che ogni paese ha nella sua cultura come cibo, sculture etc. Per esempio, in America, penso che l’architettura vera è rappresentata dalle loro case, ma questo è solo il mio punto di vista.
Lo spazio che offrono, le porte finte, le camere da letto, l’altezza… beh, avere una casa come la loro è il mio sogno.
TV e musica
Guardare serie TV è la mia attività preferita, così quando ne inizio una nuova, la storia è spesso ambientata in America, tra scuole, case, fast food, foreste e oceani (Probabilmente avete notato che sono ossessionato con guardare nuove show!)
I tipi di film che mi piace guardare sono fantastico, azione e romantico, dipende dal mio umore.
Ho anche una lunga lista su Netflix.
Quando sono da solo o in palestra, ascolto sempre musica, soprattutto band rock come Bon Jovi, Guns N’Roses e The Cranberries, ma mi piacciono anche altri generi.
Specialmente in estate, quando esco per una passeggiata, ho sempre bisogno di avere le cuffie addosso perché la musica mi fa venire voglia di camminare.
Curiosità su di me
Due anni fa quando ho lasciato la mia vecchia scuola, ho iniziato a guardare serie fino a tarda notte, e non ho smesso da allora.
La prima serie TV che ricordo di aver visto è Elite, ed ancora oggi è uno dei miei preferiti.

Art and Architecture
When I think of art, I imagine everything that our eyes see every day or videos that we can watch on a screen.
Travelling outside Italy, shows the kind of art that every country has in its culture such as food, sculptures etc. For example, in America, I think real architecture is represented by their houses, but this is just my point of view.
The space they offer, the fake doors, the bedrooms, the height…. well, having a house like theirs is my dream.
TV and Music
Watching TV series is my favorite activity, so when I start a new one, the story is often set in America, between schools, houses, fast food places, forests and oceans (You’ve probably noticed I’m obsessed with watching new shows!)
The kinds of films I like to watch are fantasy, action and romance, it depends on my mood.
I also have a long list on Netflix.
When I’m alone or at the gym, I always listen to music, especially rock bands like Bon Jovi, Guns N’Roses and The Cranberries, but I also enjoy other genres
Especially in summer, when I go out for a walk, I always need to have headphones on because music makes me feel like walking
Curiosity About Me
Two years ago, when I left my old school, I started watching series late into the night, and I haven’t stopped since.
The first TV series I remember watching is Elite, and it’s still one of my favourites today.

Parlando di adolescenti, la prima cosa che mi viene in mente è la fascia d’età compresa tra i quindici e i diciassette anni, in cui tutti scoprono nuovi interessi, cercano di trovare la propria strada per il futuro e si godono la vita come desiderano. Di solito i loro interessi ruotano attorno al guardare film, la TV, ammirare l’arte contemporanea o classica, l’architettura o la musica.
Tra gli interessi precedenti, dal mio punto di vista, mi piacciono i film, la TV e il cinema contemporanei. Non sono una persona che ha un solo genere musicale o cinematografico e in genere dipende dal mio umore, ma in poche parole i film americani che ho visto sono stati le serie Marvel come “Spider-Man”, “Iron Man”, “Hulk”, “The Avengers” e così via.
Parlando di guardare la TV, di solito seguo le partite di calcio. Sono interessato al gioco e a come i diversi giocatori si comportano mentre giocano, mostrando una grande quantità di emozioni e passione. Le mie squadre preferite sono il Barcellona e il Real Madrid. Mi piacciono anche i campionati come la Coppa del Mondo, gli Europei, la Coppa America, la Champions League e altri.
L’ultima cosa che mi interessa è ascoltare musica contemporanea, ma di solito ascolto diversi remix che sento sui social media.
Dal mio punto di vista, in breve, non ho molti interessi, ma sono attratto da attività come guardare lo sport in TV, guardare film e ascoltare musica. Credo che ognuno sia diverso e abbia opinioni diverse, quindi ognuno può godersi la vita a modo suo.

Mi chiamo Safarov Ramin, sono uno studente quindicenne dell’Enaip Noale, attualmente iscritto al mio primo corso di Informatica. Sono arrivato qui circa otto mesi fa e non ho ancora hobby, tuttavia in passato mi interessavo a diversi sport come calcio, nuoto e judo. Il motivo per cui vi scrivo è il desiderio di migliorare la mia conoscenza dell’inglese.

Talking about teenagers, the first thing that comes to mind is the ages between fifteen and seventeen years where everyone find out new interests, tries to find his path for his future and tries to enjoy life in the way they want. Commonly their interests stay around watching movies, tv, admiring contemporary or classical art, architecture or music.
From the interests before from my point of view I’m into contemporan movies, tv and movies. I’m not the person that has only one type or genre of music or movie and generally it depends on my mood , but in a nutshell the American movies I watched were the Marvel series such as “Spider-Man”, “Iron man”, “HULK”, “The Avengers” and so on.
Talking about watching TV, I usually what football matches. I am interested in the game and how different players perform while playing showing a big amount of emotions and passion. My favorite teams are FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. Also I like the championships such as World Cup, Euro, Copa America, Champions League and others.
The last thing I’m interested in is listening to contemporary music but usually I listen to different remixes I heard in the social media apps.
From my point of view in brief I don’t have lots of interests but I’m attracted by activities like watching sports on TV, watching movies and listening to music. I reckon that anyone is different and has diverse opinions, so everyone can enjoy his life in his own way.
Biography
My name is Safarov Ramin, I am a 15-year-old student at Enaip Noale, currently at my first course of Informatics. I arrived here about eight months ago and don’t have any hobbies yet, however I used to be interested in various sports such as football, swimming, and judo. La musica classica e temporanea italiana sono diversi nasce tra il XVIII e il XIX secolo
Le canzoni più famose sono “La Primavera” e per la temporanea non ce n’è una più

Per me al livello di arte preferisco quella Italiana ma come musica si controbattono a

I was fortunate to grow up in Southern Italy, in the Neapolitan and Pugliese regions, where, for centuries, tradition and faith have been intertwined seamlessly in the culture. Looking back, humanity has made a truly impressive development into our living conditions during these years. From my point of view we should be really thankful to people who took part in this development such as architects, designers, and others, because of them we are living in astonishing countries, cities, houses, and so on.Comparing American and Italian design in architecture, furniture, and interior may be tricky for me, as I am not really know with them, but from my perspective the American houses are more associated with 2-floor building with a big enough garden, and big metropolitan cities with a lot of unbelievable sky sketchers, while Italy has a lot of little minimalistic houses, sometimes near or on the water, tiny streets and a lot of historical buildings.

American furniture and design is characterized because it has many cultural influences and diversity which has evolved reflecting the diversity evolving in aesthetics.
